Your C# strategy
Start from a strategy template or work with custom C# source. Validate the code, inspect diagnostics, and preserve the source used by each run.
A local research environment for working with historical data, writing C# strategies, exploring parameters, and testing what holds up over time.
From source history to saved results, keep the ingredients of an experiment together.
Research plan
Separate parameter selection from later evaluation.
The desktop brings source code, data, experiment setup, and results into a single research workspace.
Start from a strategy template or work with custom C# source. Validate the code, inspect diagnostics, and preserve the source used by each run.
Download supported API history or import vendor files. Inspect coverage, source fingerprints, record types, and timestamp conventions in the catalog.
Use Grid, Random, or Genetic optimization to explore parameter ranges. Keep the selected history and execution assumptions attached to the search.
Configure training, validation, and out-of-sample periods. Use walk-forward research to examine selections over successive windows of history.
Return to a saved experiment’s source, parameters, costs, data fingerprint, results, and execution log. Presets retain the research configuration.
Switch between Silver and Dark from the split circle in the upper-right corner. Inspect results while keeping the current experiment setup accessible.
Windows and Ubuntu serve different workflows. The Linux runtime has a deliberately narrower supported strategy and data scope.
| Capability | Windows desktop | Ubuntu headless |
|---|---|---|
| Interface | Native desktop, Silver and Dark themes | Command-line research and optimization |
| Strategy source | C# strategies and desktop templates | Four built-in bar strategies |
| Parameter search | Grid, Random, Genetic | Headless optimization for supported bar strategies |
| Research evaluation | Historical backtests, validation, OOS, walk-forward | Supported portable bar research workflows |
| Raw trade workflows | Native Windows raw-trade research | Not supported; use the supported bar workflow |
| Custom C# / ATS | Supported desktop source workflow | Not supported |
| Broker integration | Adapter-specific setup and entitlements required | Not supported |
API and vendor records have different semantics. Quote-derived bars are research prices; they do not by themselves reproduce spreads, queue position, or tick-level execution.
Research results do not establish that an account, instrument, or broker adapter is ready for live orders.
Read the integration notesAvailable adapter work covers Interactive Brokers TWS, Trading Technologies, Saxo OpenAPI, and kabu Station. Each connection requires its own account permissions, credentials, configuration, and provider-specific validation.
The commercial release is not available yet. You can review the product, read the manual, and check the current release information before subscribing.
The user manual documents workflows and current platform limits.
