Windows desktop · M219.1

M219.1 improves execution scheduling and exposes quote receipt, order send and broker-response timestamps. Strategies wait for fresh quotes without replaying uncertain requests; account-wide command order and final risk checks remain intact. It also includes faster Results caching, DD-time tooltips and optimization parameter files. Bundled Databento/Parquet readers need no manual Python setup.

Running strategies may place new orders after a position is closed. Stop them if you want to remain flat. Unknown or changed broker outcomes still block a close until they are reconciled; no uncertain request is resent.

Download the x64 Setup installer and verify the publisher is Song Associates G.K. Install for your Windows user, then choose “Start 14-day trial” on the Activation page or activate an existing key. No separate .NET SDK is needed.

M219 execution improvements are retained. M219.1 adds tested 14-day trial compatibility, with activation and distribution checks on Windows and Ubuntu. All 7,091 Windows package files verified. Clean Windows VM checks cover M154-to-M219.1 HTTPS update, fresh signed installation, uninstall and workspace preservation. Timing comparisons are controlled offline tests, not a live-broker latency guarantee.

If an older failed run discarded its trial details, rerun it after updating. M219.1 cannot reconstruct missing history. Large results still require memory when opened.

Older portable previews need this Setup once to gain the built-in online updater. Keep your existing workspace; do not delete it. Uninstall through Windows Installed apps. Workspace data and activation remain on the PC.

Ubuntu CLI / headless

Ubuntu M219.1 is the CLI/headless edition, with the same versioned engine, 14-day trial and one-PC licence as Windows. All 9,738 package files verified. Clean-VM checks cover HTTPS update, fresh installation, activation enforcement, uninstall and workspace preservation.

Verified on Ubuntu 22.04.5 x64 without a system .NET SDK. Use command-line data import, C# strategy compilation, backtests, optimization and research. This package does not include the Windows desktop interface.

Save all seven files in one directory. Check the public-key fingerprint, signature and every checksum before installing.

Already have a key? Use qr-studio license activate instead of license trial. Keep ~/.local/bin on your PATH. Enter the activation key through the hidden prompt, never as a command argument. CSV, DBN and Parquet imports require no manual Python setup; the readers and dependencies are included.

Verified online updates

Windows checks the publisher feed at startup. In Settings, choose Check update and then “Update available · Install and restart” when a newer release is available. Windows M219.1 and Ubuntu M219.1 report no update while they remain the latest version for their platform.

Stop strategies and research jobs, and disconnect broker/data sessions before updating. Cleanup must succeed before Windows hands over to the updater. Trading never restarts automatically. An existing Ubuntu process retains its old image until it exits; later invocations use the updated image.

Updates verify the publisher signature, product, platform, version, size and SHA-256. Failed verification does not replace the installed application. Your strategies, data, journals and preferences are preserved.

One PC, with a transfer path

New trials last 336 hours from the first successful activation. Existing trial expiry dates stay unchanged. Reinstalling or transferring does not restart it. Keep the generated licence key for transfer or future paid renewal. Online checkout is currently disabled; a trial never charges you automatically.

One activation key permits one active PC across Windows and Ubuntu. To move it, choose “Deactivate this PC” or run “qr-studio license deactivate” on the old PC. The new PC can activate after the previous lease expires, which can take up to two minutes.

If the old PC is lost or broken, contact support privately for an ownership-verified reset. Legacy offline licence files need a new online key from support; they cannot be imported as online keys. KOMOJU online checkout is in preparation; online payments remain disabled.

Keep internet access available: activation renews every 30 seconds with a two-minute lease. If renewal is unavailable beyond that period, new licensed actions and new orders are blocked. Cancellation, reconciliation and cleanup remain available.

Release checks

Public preview: Windows and Ubuntu 0.8.0-rc.219.1. Targeted source and packaged-binary checks passed on both platforms. Installer lifecycle checks use disposable virtual machines. No broker orders, real payments or paid activations were sent. Candidate-stage package notices are historical; this page records approval of the exact tested hashes.
